I am connecting my client's K2500 to my PC in order to record his
sequencer events via midi. I am using Cubase SX2.0. However his sequences
have many tempo changes and odd meters. Is there anyway I can record those
    changes along with
his midi events in real time? The basic idea is that I'm trying to recreate
his sequences in SX and I need to match his timing information bar for bar.

    I have a K2500 and I use Sonar....
You can export the sequence directly from the K2500 to a Standard MIDI File
and drop it to a floppy....
In Sonar I can then just open the SMF from the disk...and everything is
    there....tempo changes, odd meters....etc.....

At some point I end up saving the project into the Sonar format.....
    Hope this helps!

We've thought of that. The problem is that his sequences are broken up
into many midi files, each file representing a different section of the
song. Then there is the one master file which tells the K2500 how to put the
different files together into one sequence. So how do we join the files
together in order to import the entire song as one sequence?

Not sure about Cubase....but in Sonar you can open multiple projects and
pretty much cut and paste where you want your tracks to start and end...with
    meter and tempo changes.

How it works in Cubase....I have no idea....I just know Ive brought together
    multiple files in Sonar.

Sounds like thats a Cubase function that needs to be
researched....especially if the K2500 has all the different MIDI files
    stored.....
