I own an Ensoniq MR76 (an older keyboard, I know, but I love it dearly). A
recent lightning storm power surge seems to have "zapped" my keyboard's main
and auxiliary OUTs. When I connect board to amplifier, there's simply
NOTHING there. However, my headphone jack still works, and can be used to
connect to the amp. Couple of questions:

    1) For anyone who may have encountered a similar problem, or knows enough
about the guts of a typical keyboard -- what is involved in FIXING the main
and aux. outs? Is this a salvageable/practical repair?

    2) What are the sound quality differences between using the main/aux. outs
and the headphone jack? What performance sacrifices will I experience? (I
mainly use the keyboard/amp for personal enjoyment and "garage band"
    jamming).

Thanks for any guidance. Life sucks, and then you get struck by lightning.
