I have just picked up a D-110 for my son to use with his keyboard so he can have some synth sounds to add to his piano sounds. I have a Yamaha TG 500 which is great, and relatively easy to use, but we are scratching our heads over the Roland! All we want to do at this stage is use it as a sound module, and just page throught the preset sounds. This is a cinch on the TG500 - select the bank, press the right button to page through the sounds, play them. The only way we can get the Roland to play sounds is to use the keyboard to select sounds by changing the midi channel, and even then we only get a few of them. Is there any way we can set the roland to, say, just transmit on all channels, and just go through the sounds by paging up and down? We have the manual, but that is just baffling......
