My biggest (and only) complaint about the G1000 is that I can't figure
    out how
to save the MIDI output settings in a performance.

For example, I want to run other rack units together with the g1000
but the rack units are set to receive messages from channel 1 and the
G1000 defaults to channel 4 to send the messages.

Also, when you boot up the G1000 all of the channels for the arranger
are set to transmit "ON" and all arranger and local sounds are set to
tx program change "on". This is a pain because every time I want to
play the keyboard with the rest of my rack gear, I have to go through
and manually turn off all the program changes for every channel and
turn off the "TX" for the arranger. It takes too much time.

So to make this short. Does anyone know how to change the default
(or boot up) MIDI transmit settings? Or do you know how to save the
MIDI transmit settings into a performance for easy access?

Any advise would be very helpful.
    Thanks
    Rob
