    Help required please.....

Limited synth knowledge means I need to set this problem for your
    enjoyment!

I am using a set of bass pedals to trigger a synth in a rack off stage.
    (Trigger via MIDI...)
I want each pedal to trigger a note. BUT i want it to play me a chord
instead. For instance i hit the "c" pedal and it triggers a Cmaj7
chord. Is it possible to "create" the chord by layering the same sound
and detuning the two additional sounds to create a chord. I would then
need to set up the rest of the scale to produce the chord type from
    each pedal tap.

Could I then save this "scale" of chord sounds under the name of the
song it's used in and repeat the process with the different chords
    needed for the next song.

The band doesn't want a keyboard player or to use a sequencer or sample
    of a chord.

    The pedals are

I want to know if a synth can be set up to do this and what i should
    buy...is something like a 1080 or 2080 gonna do the job..or am I
    mad/barking or just optimistic

    Thanks in advance.
