I hope I didnt post this already, if I did sorry. anyways just wanted to know if I can take patches from my srx cards and store them in my user bank? or any user bank for that matter. Im having trouble figuring out some of my roland users manual on these subjects. If someone knows how and has the patience to tell me how to do this in step by step proceedure (in simple laymens terms via my xv editor/computer) I would be eternally grateful. thanks steve
There is an option to copy any patch to the user bank (select the patch, then press "UTILITY" then "COPY"). You won't be able to use the patch without the card in though, as it doesn't copy the waveform data, just the settings that are applied. Hope this makes things clearer, Roland manuals are notoriously incomprehensible!

mourndark if you could be so kind one more time I want to do an octave change on a patch setting I tried via the xv editor it wouldnt write it so how do i do it manually thanks steve
