My friend has a K2500, I have a PC. Is it possible to transfer a
sequence to my PC? Can he save it on a floppy as a .mid file so that I can
import it into my sequencer or is there another way?

The K2500 will save its internal MIDI sequences to a standard MIDI file....

Then...it can be brought into any program that opens a MIDI file

When I get lazy and Im sitting at the keyboard....sometimes I will use the
internal sequencer ...then save it to a MIDI file....and bring it into
    Sonar.

    Works well!

What do you save the midi file to..A floppy? Will that floppy read in a
    PC if its Mac formatted?

First Ill work my sequences through on the K2500....(usually I use
Sonar....but this is when Im only working on the K2500) and save it to the
    K2500....

When making the tranfer to a floppy....Im sure there is a way to save the
file to the .mid format.....or the standard midi file format.........

Im thinking that the floppy has to be PC formatted.....I dont work with
Macs...so Im not sure about the Mac formatted disk.....

MIDI files can be saved to a floppy, but the Kurzweil reads & writes
in DOS (PC) format, not Mac. I think recent Macs can read these,
    though...

Ok. So far so good, I succesfully imported his midi files into Nuendo.
Now we have another problem: One of his songs is divided into several
smaller midi files. He could not figure out how to combine them together
for export as one big midi song. Is there a way to do this? Can he bounce
these files down into one song?
