Greetings! Haven't posted in awhile. I'd like to get some sheet music, specifically Billy Joel's Piano Man. OK< I can learn it by ear without the sheet music 'cause I read music like a first grader, but still I'd like to try learning off the notation.

Well there seem to be a lot of sites where you can buy sheet music, but some of them aren't that forthcoming on the price and what else you have to do and do you also have to pay a subscription fee etc. I don't like sites where there are 'hidden' costs. I don't want to subscribe & buy a LOT of sheet music, just one or 2 things.

Can anyone recommend a straightforward place to download sheet music without all the "song & dance" (LOL)?

    Hi Laura,

If you're able to live with the guilt, it's easy to find free sheet music online (but Billy won't receive his royalties).

This Piano Man sheet seems good.

Thanks! I wouldn't mind paying a buck or so, but I don't want to subscribe for $15 or whatever first.
