Greetings and salutations. Or "hi" if your eyes are feeling lazy.

Hello from snowy Britland where the thermal undies are pretty necessary right now.

Hello Sly Cat from Perth. I've an igloo built using bucket shaped snow bricks (made using a plastic bucket - isn't the web great for finding stuff out).

Have you a snowman up yet or anything?

Hi, peeps. Thanks for the welcome.

Goz, how'd you work out I was from Perth? You must be a clairvoyant!

Okay actually, I'm not...but I did visit Perth once. It was windy and I remember a futile search for a Chinese restaurant.

Oh well, c'est la wotsit and all that.

    Hi and welcome.

I live in Northwest Colorado, USA - 7000 feet up in the mountains, and we wear thermals 9 months out of the year around here!

You know, I may just ask to borrow some spares if the weather gets as cold as it did last week! We're not used to all this snow stuff...up until a few years ago, there were parts of the country that could hardly remember what snow looked like!

At the moment, my little corner of the south west has thawed out - but I'm sure it won't last.
