Hey guys! I was wandering if any of you know any good software that runs on Windows that can best perform in live conditions, something like that add-on for ProTools, i think is called ProTools Live . I want it when i connect my midi controller to use the switch pedal to automatically go through the patches. I am grateful for any input. Thank you.

Is it a VST host you want?

I currently use Native Instruments Kore 2 (with the Kore 1 hardware).

I started with Chainer (on XP) which I used for over a year - it's inexpensive but not free.

I also hosted Chainer within Kore - when I first switched as all my presets/sounds were in Chainer already. Worked fine on XP.

I've also tried Cantabile Light - the freeware version.

Do a search for Brainspawn Forte. It will do the footswitch thing (AFAIK).

In Kore I need to have everything loaded and then have presets which switch various channels (containing the VSTs) on and off. Not ideal.
