Nice groove! I like the sample and hold "space" sounds. Your drummin'
sounds more authentic than usual. What are you using on this one?

Very cool. I particularly liked the cartoon with the little guys asking why
"he" is staring at them. The music definitely lends itself well to images,
and has some really nice sounding textures going on.

That's the Wusikstation. Great for spacey pads.

    >Your drummin' sounds more authentic than usual. What are you using on

    this one?

The same as I always use, DFHS. I played a lot 'lighter' and I think scaling
the velocity back a bit gave it a smoother sound.

Thanks Rick. I really tested my 'puter on this one. Boatload of tracks,
softies, and assorted plugs. Sonar came thru with flying colors on this
    project ;)

I have the velocity sensitivity backed off on my pad kit, so I don't start
hitting the slammin' samples until I'm actually slammin' on the pads. I
think you're getting into the happy place on those drum samples coz they
sound sice and smooth on this track.

Dude! The music is beautiful and richly textured, and now I wanna watch
the *slideshow*... but I've no friggin' time. It's Catherine's 51st
birthday today and I'm making myself nuts in the kitchen with her birthday
supper (all prep-cook stuff for transport, so I don't have to mess up *her*
kitchen that I'll actually be cooking in).

Barbecued Chinook salmon fillets in reduced lemon cream, a with red-onion,
red pepper cut snow-pea and wild mushroom pilaf, and broccoli florets in a
    mildly curried cheese/cream/butter sauce.

    Mmmmmmmmm.......

Sounds really nice (I didn't see the slide show) - but it's gettiong close to "Chinese restaurant"
    music. ;-)

I don't mean that to be offensive/insulting - that's just what came into my head (a dangerous place) ;-)

    Yea, that was the key.
I'm a pretty hard player. I've broken strings on my old piano. It's a wonder
I haven't broken any keys on my boards :)
