So my kid and I gutted my old Core 2 Duo machine this morning, put it into another case with another power supply and so far, it's booting up and staying booted up. When I was using it as my DAW, it got so it would boot all the way to the desktop and then spontaneously reboot. So far, it's booted up five or six times now and worked every time, and we put all his drives, video card, and AP2496 in it, and it booted right up to Windows 7 with his desktop on twin monitors. It only did a few items of "new hardware found", and is running all his games *way* better than they ran on the Celeron 3.0Ghz machine he was using. Now I'm going to have to put his old mobo and CPU into my wife's machine, which is the bottom of the barrel machine in the house running a PIII 1Ghz. -- Remove YourHeadFromYourAss to Reply by email ________ __ / ____/ /__ ____ ____ / /_ ____ / / __/ / _ \/ __ \/ __ \/ __ \/ __ \ / /_/ / / __/ / / / / / / /_/ / /_/ / \____/_/\___/_/ /_/_/ /_/_.___/\____/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Glennbo http://www.soundclick.com/glennbo Non-Linear Sound http://www.soundclick.com/jambits Hear My Music http://www.soundclick.com/ThePseudonyms
