Since digital TVs seem to be getting so cheap, the lovely Mrs. Modisette
wants to put one in my studio "man cave."

I can fit anything up to a 42" easily at the center of my wall between
my JBLs. I still don't want to spend more than $500 out the door at the
local WalMart. (not including wall bracket if I go that route.)

Don't know if I want to hook it up to the DAW computer as I already have
a pair of 22" Widescreens. My eyes couldn't detect that much difference
in the 60 hz refresh rates as opposed to 120. I also seemed to like the
LCD over the plasma as far as clarity was concerned but I was looking at
    it in department store lighting.

Anything else that I should consider?

I bought the very cheep 1080p Insignia after a bad experience with a
Vizio. It is my main and only monitor in the studio for DAW, HTPC,
    HDTV, Etc. http://members.cox.net/glennbopix/BigMonitor.jpg
