Im leading the orchestra for an amateur productiom of seussical the musical but a bit rubbish when it comes to technical stuff.
I use a korg sv1 stage piano and it has a limited set of samples. I was wondering if theres anyway or using my laptop to provide more voices. Is there a program (preferably cheap or free But not essential) which can be used with my keyboard to make the enourmous amount of sounds which are required?
Also i have a set of sounds which need to be played at specific times througout the show. I believe its possible to use a keyboard to control the sounds. If this Is true then how does this work. If im playing the keyboard part on my keyboard them will i need another to control the sound effects.
    If so any recomendations?
Thanks in advance and sorry for asking so many questions.
    Matt

    Welcome to the forum.

You might get a response from someone who's done the show recently. I've done music theatre stuff in the past but not that show.

I'll post again if you don't get a response by next week. Remember a lot of us are away gigging/doing shows at the weekends.
