   I'm using an FV-50L on my Roland GW8, but everytime i use the volume pedal while playing i hear crackling through my amp. The equipment is only a year old, and i've taken care with it. Once the volume is set there is no problem, it is only playing while changing volume. Any suggestions?

   It sounds like the rheostst on the FV-50L is either dirty or going.
   
   Try plugging a microphone or some other instrument to the FV-50L - you'll probably find its that unit causing issues.
