Welcome to the forum. Format a USB memory stick in your Roland. Take it out and put it in the Tyros. Export the Tyros audio file on to the memory stick (see link below). Take the memory stick out and put it in your Roland and see if it plays. I just googled this - never owned/played a Tyros: http://faq.yamaha.com/us/en/article...boards/arranger_workstations/tyros3/430/4088/
Thanks goz211 Thanks for you reply. I have a Tyros3, but not a Roland700nx. Was hoping someone on the forum had both and had done this without any problems. Presently considering a Roland700nx for a Praise team and would like the capability of laying down a backing track from other keyboards in home studio and taking the USB drive to the practice and plugging it into a Roland700nx or Kawi MP10. Again thanks for your time and consideration. JRH
If you can play the .wav (that you made in the Tyros) on a PC by clicking on it - it'll play from the Roland's USB stick drive. I have a Juno Stage that does the same thing - it'll play back .wav files and mp3 files from a USB memory stick.
