A friend of mine has a JW-50 on it's last legs. He'd like to upgrade to something a little newer and better sounds, but without having to re-learn how to operate the thing from scratch. Was there a successor to the JW-50 that operated functionally much the same? How about the XP-50? Or is this an entirely different machine?
Have a look at the Roland Fantom range. I have a Fantom X6 and its great. It's easy to use, the sounds are great and it has a sampler and audio multi track all in one package.
