I have 2 extra motherboards here are the specs:
dual socket 8 board (msi board) w/ 2 pentiumII overdrives 333mhz
    256mb ram
    2 scsi disks 7200 rpm
    the other is :
single socket 370t(ecs board) w/ celeron 1.4 ghz
    192mb ram
    ata 66 7200 disk
I have been using the dual socket board and is pretty smooth with xp or
nt4. but i been wondering if a single socket might be better, but then i
think about the l2 cache and its 1 meg at333mhz vs 256k at 1400mhz. I am so
far only upto 16 tracks. my current gaming machine is a nforce2 board msi
version with all the extras including the sound storm apu. proble end up
using this after a couple of years. which one the dual or the single
    celeron?

The single-CPU system is far better.
