Hello, I'm using the Yamaha PSR 8000 keyboard, but would like to get some new sounds on it. I've never really tried this, so how can I do that? In particular I'd really like to get some Hammond sounds on it. It would also be nice to get some new drums ect... But I'm really longing for those Hammond sounds! Thanks a lot for your help!
That's one huge keyboard you have there Unfortunately, like all other PSR keyboards, you are limited to the internal ROM provided with the keyboard. You can't add new samples. You could tweak a bit the preset sounds, but on PSRs that's just making small adjustments like reverb/chorus... So, sorry... Don't think you'll have much luck with that. You could get new user styles though - same drum kits though.
