    I'm new to this site.

I posted this in the KORG section without reply.

Maybe someone can enlighten me here.

I have a Yamaha PSR9000 and a KORG MICROKORG XL - can my Yamaha be plugged into the microkorg XL ?

if so, what type of cable should i look for - hope someone can help

    thanks in advance

What kind of connections are there on your PSR? If you have MIDI then a single MIDI cable will do the trick. If all you have is USB then you'll need a computer to connect it through (as per this thread).

    Thanks very much for replying.

I have a MIDI (I'm sure) so its good that a single midi cable would do the trick.

I look forward to hooking up my PSR to my microkorg XL Soon

MIDI out (on the PSR) into MIDI in (on your Korg).

That way you'll be using the keybed of your Yamaha to play Korg sounds

Got a MIDI cable on ebay

what a difference it makes -

it also works on my Yamaha PSS 790 Which makes this keyboard far better than what it was.
