88 keys for midi orchestration

The title say it all. Yeah I am that deep into music now.

Anyway I need advice on a graded hammer action piano-controller with 3 sensors and contentious sustain pedal. Something sub 1000 bucks. So far the cheapest I know is Roland FP-30X. The FP-10 was my initial choice but apparently it only registers 3 values from DP10 sustain pedal.

Anything else on the market? Any midi controller worth the money?

I read so many good stuff about SL Grand but I also read some bad stuff. Apparently the display usually breaks after a year, the included software is nightmare to use and sometimes the keys are not assembled properly. Which for this price and FATAR brand is really unacceptable. But yes, the key action is excellent when all is in order. It on my short list but I would rather pick something else if I can.

Apparently not, according to a couple of store pages I checked. And no mention of any MPK288.

I noticed that too. So that's why my pedals sometimes act the way they do!!
