A cheap expression pedal suggestion please.... perhaps EP2?

I need to buy an expression pedal for my roland xp-30 which I use only as a controller for Pro Tools. Since I'm only going to be using it occasionally (and pretty much only for Sounds Online's Hollywood Strings), I just want a basic cheap roland compatible pedal. I'm leaning towards the Moog EP2. Can anyone tell me if this is indeed compatible with the xp-30?

I have an Alesis F2 that I have never used...but I know that it is constructed very well and would be a great pedal. I have no application for it at the moment. In doing a little research for you, I found out that this pedal is hardly even available anymore. I couldn't find it for sale anywhere (only looked for a few minutes).

Not sure how much point there is to this post...and it probably doesn't help at all...but I do know that Moog makes great stuff.
