Hi All,
Happy to be here...first time posting. As my exhausting search for an all around MIDI controller for a film/TV scoring venture, yet, also double as a music production center...(All VIs), I have narrowed it down to a few choices, one being the A500 Pro.
I have downloaded the manual, and could not find these answers.
My question: Can the buttons/pads, be assigned to be solos/mutes when the faders are controlling my DAW? I noticed there are no dedicated buttons, like on every other MIDI controller with faders. Also, I hear a lot of complaining about the joystick combo with mod...but couldn't I simply assign any modulation to a slider and essentially get the same results? Lastly, I am using Sierra and Pro Tools 12, are there any compatibility issues with the editor?
