An old song of mine

Today at 8:45 in the morning here in frozen Toronto it minus 8 outside. Can anybody please tell me what's going on? That's with the wind chill so it's actually a bit warmer but certainly not spring weather.
I figured we all need a bit of summer so here's a song I wrote 4 or 5 years ago about summer. I had the chord structure together for a long time before suddenly while driving out in the back country with my wife the lyrics came pouring out. I had her quickly jot them down on a napkin! When I got home I went into my studio and this is what came out. A song about all of the good times we had WAAAAYYY back when we were younger! The early 1700's for some of us!

According to the forecasts, we're in for this frozen meat pie of a climate for another two weeks before it finally warms up to seasonal temperatures...

This summer we've definitely got to get together for a couple of beers at the local showbar just around the corner from my place.

Your tune already has me in the mood

The slide guitar definitely reminds me of 70's blues bands.
