Hey guys, so I was pretty intent on buying the new Casio XW-P1, but then decided I would like something with vocoder capabilities. Any suggestions for something with similar features and in the same price range, but with the vocoder? Thanks!

Thanks for the response. That's the issue I have with the microkorg. It's too small, and not enough keys, and just not enough of anything other than vocoder features. I might just try to pick up a used micro along with the xw-p1

The Korg R3 is the Microkorg XL's big brother. It has a metal case and full sized keys.

Personally I sold off a Microkorg XL a couple of months ago and used it to buy the Casio XW-P1. It's a hell of a lot more fun and versatile and a hell of a lot more bang for the buck. Personally I really don't miss the vocorder that much and I may just end up buying a Vocorder module like the EHX V256

or a DIY module like the Paia

or else maybe I'll just use one of the software vocorders out there in a DAW setup.
