Arranger Roland bk-5 Key Touch function

Hi, when I set the "Max Value" parameter of the key touch (Roland bk-5) below a certain value (approximately 80 for Curve Low, 70 for Medium and 50 for High), pressing the keys with strong pressure and speed there is no sound. I would expect that reducing the value of the "Max Value" the sound is still emitted, albeit with reduced intensity (adapting to the set level). Any of you, certainly more competent than me, can tell me if this behavior is normal? In the arranger manual I have not found any indication about it. In regular operation of the arranger, once the threshold set at the "Max Value" is exceeded, is the intensity emitted reduced or reset? Thank you.
