Best accompaniment keyboard

Hi, I'm a newbie here.

I was into accordion and recently fell for accompaniment keyboards. Started with the new yamaha 433, traded for a roland bk5, traded again for a yamaha psrs950. And now, I've set eyes on the Clavinova CVP 909.

This is getting expensive. I have 3 questions:

- is there a big difference between the cvp505 and the cvp509?

- is there anything better on the market?

- should I stick with the psrs950 and wait for a new model to show up?

Thanks in advance

Hello Astpier,

I, too, went through buying a number of keyboards, before settling on what I have, now.
The thing you need to know is: What do you want? What features/abilities on the 'board are you looking for? etc..... The problem with NOT knowing these facts is exactly what is happening: Buy 1, not satisfied. Buy another, still not happy....etc. The "best keyboard" may not be what you want, anyway. I saw a PSR-S910 for sale on ebay , because "my daughter lost interest in piano lessons..." You don't need an (expencive) arranger for piano lessons.........Sorry.....I'm rambling.....Just collect the facts of what you want and see what model fits your requirements.

Thanks for your opinion Pat. I finally opted for the Tyros and love it. But deep inside I know I'll get the CVP-509 sometimes next year. I just want the best ;))

Thanks again.
