All I can say is that I've never had a problem with mine and I'm sure Biggles would say the same. Focusrite are good too but again, a bit more expensive.Behringers have a bad rep for DOA. Focusrite Scarlet seems to be a very popular choice these days.
Myself I use a Makie 12 Channel mixer with USB soundcard and FX built in.
Depends if you ever plan to expand your rig.![]()
Sorry, no.All I can say is that I've never had a problem with mine and I'm sure Biggles would say the same. Focusrite are good too but again, a bit more expensive.
Oh, I didn't realise you had been having issues with your's - maybe I missed some of your posts. So far, mine has not given me any problems.Sorry, no.
My Behringer is very fussy with its placement, it picks up mains hum and has a hiss if near power supplies, speakers or the keyboard.
Presently all is quiet with it in its current location.
If at some stage it fails I would replace it with a Mackie.
Initially I had no problems but last year when I bought the Korg I had to reconfigure the cabling and add speakers and then the Behringer placement became an issue. Solved by adding another shelf and re-routing cabling.Oh, I didn't realise you had been having issues with your's - maybe I missed some of your posts. So far, mine has not given me any problems.
That's interesting. It sounds like it may have been something to do with cable shielding rather than the Behringer unit itself? I know some USB cables are shielded but don't think they all are. Anyway, glad to hear that the re-route fixed it for you.Initially I had no problems but last year when I bought the Korg I had to reconfigure the cabling and add speakers and then the Behringer placement became an issue. Thanks but finally I bought Roland Rubix22. Nicely made, solid and does the job. So far, so good. And £35 cheaper than the UR 22.The Steinberg UR-22C gets my vote if it’s for Cubase. You get a proper channel strip inside Cubase with this, which is very handy. Quilaty if fine and ive had no issues at all with mine that ive had for a few years.
Saying that, Ive recently switched to an Arturia Minifuse, as i like that meters on the front. Again, never hand an issue with it.
Ive had various Focusrite’s over the years, but couldnt get on with a couple of recent ones as the Loopback function seemed a step back from the UR and Minifuse.
The only difference I can see is that the UR22C has a USB 3.0 socket instead of a USB-type B.That looks the same design as the UR-22. Quite a saving if it is.
