Can anyone tell me how to turn effects off on the lower voice off a split?

Tried following the instructions from Yamaha. Followed their instructions but couldn't get it to work. Really don't want chorus on my bass part but do need it on the keys patch. Frustrated.

Depends on the model.

Some boards have only global FX while others have insert and global FX.

Oh, never mind. Figured it out. You can adjust each voice's effects individually in split mode with the slider using the global effects. D'oh. Thanks anyhow. Other than the weight of the CP4 it's still my board of choice for kicking the bass line, much better than the CP73 which has quite limited bass patches.
