Hi all. My mates CT-X3000 headphone socket has stopped working and I know the port is just soldered to the board, but has anyone every had this problem and if so, have you fixed it and how? And can a replacement be obtained anywhere in the UK? Thanks in anticipation of any help.

Welcome.

No experience of X3000 issues.

If you find that the socket is at fault then CPC (based in Preston) and RS Components are the major electronics parts suppliers in the UK and both will have detailed dimensioned drawings on the socket.

If you cannot source a direct replacement then a case mounted socket and flying leads to the circuit board will get the job done.

Brilliant. Thanks for your advice
Hi Biggles. Update: he's found a local keyboard repairer he's goingcto ring for advice and RS Components are only 5 miles away from us. So either way, I'm sure he'llget it sorted. Thanks for your help
