Casio WK 7500

Hi,

What I am after is an App that I can use to control all my patches when I am gigging. In particluar, I would like to have;

Ease of changing sounds during songs (1 touch presets) say from Piano to Organ!
Layers/Splitting of sounds
Change of sounds with foot switch. etc, etc

Not sure if this will help or not but take a look at a program called Data Manager 6.1 on Casio's download site.

I don't think the functionality of the CTK7000/WK7500 can be changed/controlled in this aspect.

You can certainly use it with Garage Band, just wanted to see if there was a more appropriate app out there

MIDI software tends to be either of two categories. Either Patch Editor/Librarians or Sequencers.

Garageband is a sequencer. I assumed what you were looking for was a patch editor/librarian and I assumed that's what the casio software I linked was. I couldn't test it as I don't own a WK series synth.

Anyway I've never owned a mac so I've never tried garageband either. Perhaps they've combined some editor/librarian features in there as well.
