Does anyone know if there is a way to change favourite banks via MIDI on Kurzweil PC4SE? Idea is to create favourite bank as a preset and call up with external device (in this case Band Halper). So I press the song on my tablet and Kurzweil switches favourite bank accordingly.

Favorites are nothing more than an collection of programs and multis, arranged in banks of 10 each (on my Forte they are this way, might be a different arrangement on the PC4). None-the-less, they are there so that you can easily choose your favorites. If you are going to have software pull up the programs/multis via midi then there is no 'advantage' by trying to pull them from the favorites section, just note the program/multi number and pull them up via midi as if the keyboard didnt have favorites functionality.

So, let me be more specific. Most of the songs needs more than one variation - during the song I have to change 3 or 4 times the sound. My idea is to call by midi the first program within the 5 program bank (on pc4se is 50 banks by 5 programs) and then just go through changes pressing the favourite programs (2, 3 etc...). That way I don't have to scroll through the banks I just press the song on my tablet and everything is ready to go (I need to be fast). The workaround would be that choosing the program would trigger the bank where the program is setup. Either ways I couldn't find, unfortunately.
I have a workaround which is working, but I'm surprised Kurzweil didn't use favourite banks in more ways than just simply addressing programs to it.
