The chord notations show little arrows, some pointing left, some right, some middle, some low.
Anyone know what these arrows are depicting?
The publication is a Hal Leonard EZ Play.
Thanks Col,
But not the answer I was seeking.
It's the little arrows that confuse me, not the chord sequence. Besides the A chord is not even suggested first time through.
The arrows are present in other parts of the tune as well.
What do the arrows mean? They are not on the Dm, F or C7 chords, but are shown on the Bb, A7 and Gm chords.
Another pic below may help.
Thanks
R
The book was in tatters and was a freebie which I acquired 10 years ago. Back then I
remember just veviving a few tunes from it and the rest of the book got thrown out.
Hence, no legend.
The arrows have no bearing in playing the tune. Just a curious thing. Actually, one of my class students at U3A brought it to my attention and asked. Otherwise it would have been overlooked by me.
