Hi Everybody
My Yamaha P-200 has audio input jacks on the back for guitar/synth signals. I however use softsynth (Reason with ASIO4ALL). I want to be able get my laptop's sound to come out of the keybaord's speakers, but consumer devices (such as my PC) have much higher levels of audio output then the instruments for which the P-200's input was designed. Even at the lowest levels it would be dangerously loud and could fry my equipment and my ears.
How can I safely get my computer's audio into the keyboard? Is there a low level output setting in ASIO4ALL, Reason, or somewhere else in the computer? Is there an external piece of hardware I should use? I couldn't find any settings (not even volume) for the P-200 external source amplifier.
Thanks.
PS I would have posted this in questions but it wouldn't let me.
