Connecting a bass pedal board to the PA1000

I'm trying to use my MP113 bass pedal board with the PA1000. I connected the MP113 midi out to the Korg midi in. I want to control the MP113 from the "lower 3" on the PA1000. The MP113 default channel = 1. I tried changing midi out, channel 1, on the PA1000 to "lower 3" without success.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

I think you will find that it is 'Midi in' on the PA1000 that is more important. You are actually sending a midi command from the pedalboard to the sound section on the PA1000. Midi out on pedalboard, midi in on PA1000.

Have a look at this Youtube video about the PA1000 Organ style.
