Hello!

Next week there is some event in my school and i need to play my keyboard there.

I got casio wk-6500 keyboard but the problem is tha i cant get it to sound through speakers.

My keyborad has 2 line outs - R and L/MONO. Im connecting it to this mixer - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UB1222FX-PRO.aspx

and using 6.3mm stereo cables - http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/343185057/6_3mm_plug_to_plug_stereo.html

But it just simply dont work, sound is coming through keyboard only. I have tried to put them in each port in mixer but it doesnt work. It only workd if i use PHONES port in keybord.

And theres nothing wrong with L/MONO and R ports because i connected L/MONO port to guitar amplifer and it worked well.

P.S Im new to these things so im maybe doing something wrong.

That's a bit mystefying.... sounds like you've done the right things.... gonna sound like a stupid question but other instruments were ok going into the mixr?

what about the headphone jack? It's not idealistic but in a crunch, a stereo 1/4 cable to split mono 1/4 cable could work.

It might be a dodgy setup on the jack outputs, try using mono cables instead of stereo. The ring on the stereo jack may inverting the signal at the other end if it's balanced which would cancel out the signal. Use the same cables your guitarists use, which should have the Sleeve and Tip, but no middle ring.
