CP33 to external clock?

I just replaced my old master board with a Yamaha CP33, which I bought for the amazing keyboard feel. But I am finding that no matter what I do, the CP33 is sending a stream of realtime data - presumably MIID Beat Clock and active sensing data - that shows up as a constantly glowing red input light on Port One of my MOTU MIDITimePiece, and is mirrored at all 8 outputs on the interface.

I can filter out the mirrored data on the outputs, but can't, for some reason, filter it out at the input.

DOES ANYONE KNOW how to shut off the MIDI Beat CLock coming form the CP33?

There should be some kind of setting in the MIDI menu on the keyboard to select MIDI Sync Master/Slave and possibly OFF.

I'd say set it to either Slave or OFF.

At least that's how it works on 99% of all MIDI keyboards.
