[DGX-220] How do I record the split voice on a song?

I have the keyboard split between voice 1 and 2. Recording on User 1 it only plays back voice 1. How do I get it to record the second voice?

Does dual have to be on and set to the same voice as split?

Or does dual play 2 voices simultaneously upon hitting the same key?

I haven't checked the manual, but I strongly suspect that the Split Voice cannot be recorded. That's how it is on the PSR-E models that I have, and I believe the DGX-220's song recorder is very similar to the PSR-Es'.

What you'll need to do is record the right-hand voice on one track, then record a second track for the left-hand voice, except you'll need to set the Main Voice to whatever you were trying to use for the Split Voice and record the Main Voice on the second track.

An alternative would be to connect the keyboard to a computer and record both parts at once in a DAW.
