DGX 660 RGT QUESTION

hello from Montreal,

I am new to this site,
and would like to know
if i can download the rgt files that i have on a usb,
directly into the the keyboard.
I have tried it
and RGT is not a file that the keyboard recognise....
any help would be appreciated !

You might have to create a file with the keyboard's model name (example: Korg EK-50 would be "EK50") - then drag and drop the rgt files into this designated named file. Then they may be recognized and transferable from the source (PC or whatever computer) to your keyboard.

I don't think the DGX-660 lets you load Registration files from its internal storage drive.

You can save and load Registration files to and from a USB thumb drive, as described on pages 83 and 86 of the Owners Manual, but I think the files will have a ".USR" extension.

If you have ".RGT" Registration files that you saved from a different instrument, they won't work on the DGX-660 because, in addition to having the wrong file extension, they will be in the Registration data format used by the other instrument, which is not the same data format that the DGX-660 uses.
