Hello my fellow musicians.

I am kooking for an 1980s analog italian keyboard

ELKATWIN 61

If you or anyone you know of is selling one, please contact me asap

(e-mail address removed)

A little history regarding this keyboard.

I owned one as a teenager and like everyone else sold it many years later only to regret it.

I am hoping someone will come through for me.

Thank you

Well good luck with your sale. A new fuse holder costs about a buck and ten minutes with a soldering iron to install it.

I'd suggest fixing it up so it at least powers up before you try and sell it.

Since you're selling on Kijiji I'll assume you're a fellow Canuck...

Good day eh? ;)

Yep, I just saw your ad. Eglinton Dufferin area. :D

I'm in Meadowvale/Mississauga myself.

Nobody's gonna offer you diddly on Kijiji unless they actually see it working.

Spend a couple bucks and fix the fuse holder.

Gary :)

Hi Everybody . I own an Elkatwin 61 synth, it seems to work, but , right now I need to replace some diodes , one on the Pulse Generator. If someone can tell me where I can buy this diode,I would appreciate it very much. Some parts are hard to find. Thanks.

Diodes are pretty simple devices. What are you looking for? Rectifier diodes or switching diodes? Either way your only concerns are peak inverse voltage, max current and switching speed if it's a switching diode. Also in the unlikely event that it's a germanium diode you'd have to replace with a similar type. Otherwise if it's a zener diode then you'd also need to know the breakdown voltage.

Find out those specs and then you can source a replacement from any electrical supply house.

Gary ;)
