Endless sustain on new PX-3

Hi there,

Total noob here in need of some help. I just purchased a px-3 and am having a weird, intermittent problem. With grand piano 1 and warm pad layered, the sustain on the warm pad will periodically go on for 5-10 seconds before fizzling out. I'm using a m-audio so-2 pedal. Haven't been able to duplicate the problem with any other sounds. Seems to be durable over many restarts, and can happen after only playing for a few minutes.

Has anyone experienced this? Another wrinkle: a single note plays as the sustain finally ends. I don't have another pedal to try, but because of the weird note, Im thinking its not the pedal.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, Don. Definitely could be. I'll be swapping out the pedal tomorrow to eliminate that as a possibility. However, the failure sounds 'weird'. I caught it in a m4a file, but I can't upload it here for some reason.
