Hi All,
Wondering if anybody can help. I have a FA-08 with a MK-5 Midi organ pedal to play 'live' backing tracks with my feet while I play a string instrument. With my feet I play bass notes which incorporate all manner of sounds and percussion from the FA-08, some of which are rhythms from the arpeggiator. Problem being that two or more instruments playing an arpeggio or rhythm will only play the same rhythm since the FA-08 only has one Arpeggiator. Two or more instruments cannot be set to different rhythms to each other. The reason that I don't use the sequencer to create songs which would solve this problem is that I prefer to play completely live and compose as I go.
Another limitation I have found with the FA-08 is that pitch of the octave cannot be controlled by the DP-2 pedals.
The last thing I wanted to ask was to do with changing of sounds on the run. The DP-2 pedals can change the 'Studio Set' selection so different studio sets can be set up with different instruments and rhythms. The problem is that changing the sounds this way completely stops the existing sound or rhythm which isn't suitable in many songs.
So I'm looking for further devices/software that I can 'piggyback' onto my existing system to extend my scope in these ways.
Any help would be much appreciated.
