Factory reset for Fatar Studio 900 Keyboard

Hi everyone
I have an issue with my Fatar Studio 900 - when pressed down the sustain pedal is doubling the velocity of the keys being played (no it's not the volume pedal input).
I've lost track of what I did to make things happen this way. Arghh!
The best thing for me to do is do a factory reset but I can't find this information anywhere on the net.

Does anyone know how to do a factory reset on a Fatar Studio 900?

Many thanks

Ben

Try contacting Studiologic directly at (e-mail address removed)

I'm assuming you mean Studiologic since Fatar itself doesn't sell anything other than keybeds.

Thanks Gary.
I've sent an email to them but no reply as yet. Thought I'd try some forums...

The keyboard is labeled Fatar Studio 900.

Cheers

Fatar owns Studiologic and uses them to sell working keyboards (organs, synths, pianos, controllers) while Fatar itself only manufactures the keybeds these days.

I'll assume that what you have is some legacy product that existed before this relationship was created.

Otherwise you could also try contacting Fatar itself if that comes up dry using their contact form.

http://fatar.com/Pages/contatti.asp

Be forewarned that they are primarily Italian speaking and you may have difficulty making English contact.

Either way it may take up to 48 hours to get a response at all.

Thanks again.
I've had no reply from Fatar either. I sent that email weeks ago.
Now desperate to find a solution.

I just found this in a Google Translation of the original Italian Manual.

CONNECTIONS
Fig. 1
GENERAL RESET

Turn power off.
Press and hold the "ENTER" and "1" on the keypad.
Still holding down these keys, turn power back on.
Important: Once you reset the keyboard, all programs are deleted
and comes into operation a default program.

It is indeed a Studiologic Legacy Product.

Here's a link to the translated page.

Thanks again Gary. You are tracking through all the info I've been able to find.
I've read the manual and phoned the number. I'm in Australia so will need to catch them during business hours..

Those instructions are for a Studio Logic 90.
My board doesn't have an enter button so I can't try this combination.

I appreciate your help.
Cheers

Sorry to say I can't offer anything else to try.

Hopefully one of those contacts will pay off.

My best guess is the Studiologic email address.

You may want to send your email in both English as well as in Italian using Google Translate.

It may get you a quicker, more coherent response.

Good luck man,

Gary ;)

BTW on a lot of controllers usually one of the keys, usually top octave C acts as the Enter Button.

Maybe worth a shot :)

Welcome.

If you hover over a persons name you should get a pop up showing when they were last active.

That does not mean that they have not been lurking but after five years inactivity I would not expect a response from Ben.
