Fantom 06 trigger internal sample with external midi controller ?

Hi guys! I have a Fantom 06 in which I have connected a midi controller Arturia Keylab 61

So, the issue that I'm facing is that in my Fantom I created Keyboard switch groups for some of the songs I play, but I also need to trigger some samples that I already saved in the Fantom memory and that are assigned to the sample pads.

So while I'm playing my Fantom I need to have active the switch groups in the pads so I can quicky switch sounds, so my question is:

Is it possible to trigger my saved samples within the Fantom by pressing the external midi pads of the Keylab ?

Another possible work around would work for me would be to split the pads so I could have 8 pads for switching groups and 8 pads for triggering samples maybe ?
