I just bought a Fatar 990 that has a messed up sustain input jack (you have to tape it so there is pressure upwards on the jack). Rather than leave it that way (ghetto!), I'd rather repair it properly. Does Anyone know where I could get the part in the upper right quadrant in this picture? It has 9 soldering points on the bottom. All I've been able to find is the entire board.

Glad to see that you found one.

I'd suggest brushing up on your soldering skills. Take a look at a few Youtube videos on soldering and desoldering parts.

Make certain you use the right type of solder as well. Depending on the age of the board it may use leaded or lead free solder. The two types don't mix at all.

Actually it's a hot topic of contention in the electronics world about mixing leaded and unleaded solder on boards and irons and worthwhile to google the debate.

Personally I don't believe in mixing the two.
