Hi Everyone,
I hope someone can help because I don't have much of a wall left from banging my head against it!
I have an A-37 with an SP-2 Sustain pedal (connected to the Hold Switch socket) and an FS-5U - that I'm hoping to use as patch advance in MainStage (plugged into the 'Foot Pedal') socket
When trying to assign the foot pedal in MainStage - it doesn't show as receiving data. The FS-5U is definitely working as it works as a sustain pedal in the Hold Switch socket. The 'Foot Pedal' is set to ON in the control menu on the controller.
Is there something I'm missing? Do I have to change the assignment for the Foot Pedal socket to send program change message instead of expression?
I'm fairly new to MIDI so please assume I'm thick when replying!
