I miss the old days when pets brains were too fast to react to 30 fps video :)

Did you see anything there you liked?

Yeah, the puppy French Bulldog, they are Luna’s favourite with Pug’s a close second.

She loves any dog that will respond to her running around in a circle then she take off at full speed, if they chase her she is happy, if they do not she becomes aloof and wanders off, dejected, but knowing she will get a doggie treat.

Ya know what's weird? There's an annual Ugly Dog Contest but apparently Cat owners believe there is no such thing as an ugly cat :p

If they'd take off their rose colored glasses maybe they'd see those feline lurkers for what they really are... Feral killers who'd just as soon eat your corpse and piss on your shoes once you're dead :D

One thing I enjoyed most about the ugly dog contest was hearing that most of them are rescues.

It takes a biiiiig heart to love something that weird looking ;)

Ours is a double rescue.

Badly treated, with puppy and seriously ill she was rescued by our RSPCA, treated, nurtured and re-homed.

Second owner had her two years and then contracted a terminal illness so Luna spent two months in a kennel, until the RSPCA became aware of her so they took her in and had her for a couple of months before we found her.

It then took us a few visits, a home inspection by the RSPCA and a final medical before we were allowed to bring her home. She was pretty traumatised when we brought her home, and did not know how to socialise with other dogs or humans and it took time to train her.

Now she loves everyone, well almost. She was on lead a year ago and attacked by another dog that was off lead, it resulted in a visit to the Vet and stitches, six months later she was off lead and ran up to a dog and clamped her jaws firmly on its muzzle, it was payback time against the dog that attacked her, two minutes later they were running around like best buddies.

Yes, but at least you don't have to worry about taking them out in a blinding snowstorm so they can pee and poop! And you can leave them for up to 3 days if you want and they have a clean litter box, enough food and water. Way better then the alternative canine.
But that could be just my pretty much full on dislike of dogs. Get 'em wet and they stink! Eeeeww!

Errr not necessarily so Jeremy.

Our dog hates the rain, hates snow even more, in these conditions we open the back door and out she goes, back very quickly.

Ours has short hair and she smells like Chanel No 5 when she gets wet.

When we had the five cats the litter trays stank to high heaven and we constantly had to empty them and then get piss wet through or frozen solid ourselves taking the litter tray contents to the bin. Sooty’s poo could be described as a weapon of mass destruction such was its power to incapacitate the tray cleaner who lost the rock, paper, scissors battle.

Ah yes! The uncleaned litter box. We know it so well. We have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes. It's the kind of thing that you must do do do!
I've yet to find a dog who smells good when wet. Might be just me though. We've also found that cheap or inexpensive food makes for really nasty poop. Don't know why though.
Doesn't matter though. I still much prefer cats to dogs.
