Hello everyone! Excited to have found the forum here
I look forward to humbly joining in the discussion!
A bit about me:
I'm on my 4th decade of playing keyboards and making music. My earliest inspirations were video game soundtracks, and later, a strange brew of the music of the mid-late 90s, and classic jazz music. Nowadays I just play what I like, and rarely say no to an idea
My career path took me toward the technical side of things, and I dove deep into MIDI, synthesis, plugand later development and DSP. Nowadays I'm more chill about all that, and try to embrace the analog side, with all its imperfections.
I actually love troubleshooting audio setup issues. I must be a bit of an outlier in that way. All I can say is it feels great when things are finally working the way you want.
I have way too many keyboards
I also play EWI and wind synth. Old school samplers and cassette tapes are a key part of my process, sampling and re-recording my own music to grow something new and unexpected. It's fun and I love every minute of play time I get!
