hi everybody, new to this whole synth thing so if you answer imagine that i know next to nothing, which is true. I got a fantom x that the guitars sound great in patch rythum mode in the USER section of patches. as soon as i switch to mixer to record, all the guitars sound like some kind of weak organy sounding thingy ( still USER). what am i doing wrong?

hi there, I'm not familiar with the fantom x but what may be happening is that, while on the 'mixer to record' mode you mention, the guitar patch has its effects turned off. Have a look at its effects section while on that mode and make sure the effects are on and that they're the same as the ones when you're using it on "user" mode.
