Hi,

this is my first music I've played on your website.

I store all my songs on "SoundCloud" which gives me a full range of "Statistics". These include the cities around the world that my music is being played. I find this more interesting than worrying about the number of plays. It demonstrates how LARGE the world actually is and how many people use the internet for streaming music.

I'm not sure if the administrators will allow me to reply to myself, but I can't find any other way.

This song attached is one of the first I recorded using my 'TASCAM DR-05 Digital Recorder'. I managed to configure it so that I can hear what I'm playing as well as playback. This allows me to record 'Live' in 'One-Take'. I use to record and edit extensively but found that very frustrating. I get much more pleasure from practicing the piece well enough to record live.

I use my expression pedal to bring out the solo instrument. I have discussed how I do this in my introductory video. ( sorry I'm not allowed to keep linking to it, admin wrapped my knuckles last time ) You'll find the video referenced in my entry in Forums/Introductions.

As I started to record more songs on my DR-05 digital recorder, I had a problem. I'd forgotten to rename the files, so I had no way of identifying them. You might think that by simply listening to them would be the solution. Unfortunately I have great trouble in recalling names generally.

So I came up with a simple solution - get the listeners to tell me.

There have been various TV quiz shows in the past called "Name That Tune". So I get the listeners to "Name That Tune" for me.

This is the first tune I recorded in this format. Can you "Name That Tune" ?
